Mark is the founder of Berns Infrastructure, where he brings his professional experience to help clients navigate the complex world of infrastructure.

Outside of work, Mark is a husband, dad to two young kids with a third on the way, and an outdoor enthusiast. After spending 10 years living in California following college, he and his family have called the Milwaukee area home since 2021.

Our Irontek Delafield coffee bar is made a little sweeter thanks to our partnership with @wellhouse1900, a local café, shop and event space right here in Delafield.

Owner Meg Michaelson and Well House team provide our location with their homemade organic coffee syrups, giving our members plenty of ways to customize their cup—from classics like vanilla and caramel to favorites like lavender, pistachio, banana bread, black cherry and turmeric.

We love finding ways to bring local businesses into the Irontek experience—and this is one of the sweetest examples.

Seven years ago, Sarah Hawthorne stepped away from the security of a career in special education and into Beloit’s nonprofit community. Today, as Executive Director of Beloit Cares, she continues to build connections and create impact throughout the community.

When we asked Sarah about her journey, she shared:

This fall, Brian Morello, Director of CELEB, will transform Irontek's iconic "Boxing Ring" into what he's calling the "Center Ring Where Innovation Collides." The space will become a hub where professors and community members lead thought-provoking conversations that challenge students to think differently.

One of the most exciting initiatives? A series of "matches" that bring together unlikely pairs—think scientists vs. filmmakers—to tackle big questions, exchange perspectives, and demonstrate how collaboration, creativity, and strong communication can lead to innovative solutions.
