Our Accelerator Programs
Programming to strengthen startups.

Irontek partners with gener8tor to bring nationally ranked startup programming to our community, allowing founders and entrepreneurially minded individuals to take a chance on themselves and their ideas. The gALPHA and gBETA programs are sponsored by Grey Collar Ventures and offer participants an invaluable hands-on experience. No fees, no risk. Just new businesses creating more jobs and a happier, healthier Beloit.
CREATE A STARTUP
gALPHA is a free, seven-week venture-creation workshop designed to help entrepreneurially minded individuals create high-growth startups. Get product ideas, mentorship and one-on-one coaching as you build a company from scratch. You’ll ideate, form a team, create a minimum viable product (MVP), identify your first customers, and leave with a roadmap to continue building your startup!
GROW YOUR STARTUP
gBETA is a free, seven-week accelerator designed to scale existing early-stage startups. Only five are chosen from a competitive applicant pool for each cohort so that every team receives individualized coaching and mentorship. You’ll attend weekly 1:1s and workshops featuring topics like revenue models and fundraising, receive mentorship from local experts, create a pitch deck, and pitch to investors!

MEET THE DIRECTOR
ANTHONY SWINDELL
DIRECTOR | gALPHA & gBETA Beloit
Anthony co-founded two businesses in Ames, IA, during his years at Iowa State University (Go Clones!) After graduating with a Bachelor’s in Entrepreneurship, he brought his knowledge and founder experience to gener8tor and became the Director for gALPHA & gBETA Beloit. Anthony has a passion for videography, photography, and building communities. Whether drinking a cold one by the lake or skiing in the Rockies, he loves a good time staying active and being social. He’s also a renowned chess player. Swing by his office sometime and challenge him to a game – he just might give out a prize if you beat him!
